Troy Kisner
Senior Vice President – Completions
Mr. Kisner is Senior Vice President of Completions for Kraken Resources. He has 12 years of industry experience in drilling and completion roles. Mr. Kisner has experience in many of the US shale basins and has seen them in different states of maturity. At Kraken, he manages all completion operations in the Williston Basin. Prior to joining Kraken in December of 2016, Mr. Kisner worked for Hess Corporation where he led completion operations in many of the large shale plays around the US: Bakken, Eagle Ford, and Utica. He also spent time as a completions engineer in the Gulf of Mexico planning abandonment work on subsea wells.
Prior to Hess, he worked offshore and onshore drilling engineering assignments for ExxonMobil in West Africa and Colorado. He planned extended reach, horizontal, and deviated wells in conventional and non-conventional plays. Mr. Kisner earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with Honors, and Minor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
