About Kraken
Kraken Resources is a private equity-backed exploration and production company formed in 2012 to focus on drilling and development opportunities in the Williston Basin of Montana and North Dakota, primarily in the prolific Bakken formation. The Kraken team has significant technical, operational and commercial expertise across the Williston Basin and is committed to operating responsibly, safely and with integrity.

The Kraken (kra:ken)
The Kraken is a legendary sea creature of giant proportions thought to dwell in the deepest parts of the oceans. Its figure resembles that of a squid or octopus, and although a specimen has never been seen or captured, the legend continues to the present day.
Our Commitment

Kraken will utilize its vast experience, technical acumen, and Williston Basin specific knowledge to further unlock the Bakken. He has since retired to live on the Ranch in Wibaux, Montana.
