Executive Vice President & COO

Mr. Bauerschlag is Executive Vice President & COO of Kraken Resources.  He has 22 years of petroleum engineering experience to include drilling, completions, production, and reservoir engineering. Prior to joining Kraken, Mr. Bauerschlag was the Engineering Manager for the Houston Office of Red Willow Production Company. There he managed the company’s operated Permian Basin Exploration Program in addition to their non-operated Deep Water Gulf of Mexico exploration program. Before joining Red Willow, Mr. Bauerschlag worked at Legend Natural Gas in the A&D group evaluating acquisition opportunities and then in the Operations group setting up full-field operations in newly acquired assets in South Texas and Southeast New Mexico. Prior to joining Legend, Mr. Bauerschlag spent six years at Anadarko Petroleum initially as a production & completions engineer and later as a reservoir engineer.  While at Anadarko he worked with waterfloods, tight gas reservoirs, horizontal completions and production in Texas and Louisiana. 

Mr. Bauerschlag is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas.  He earned a B.S. Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
