About Kraken
Kraken Resources is a private equity-backed exploration and production company formed in 2012 to focus on drilling and development opportunities in the Williston Basin of Montana and North Dakota, primarily in the prolific Bakken formation. Since our inception, we have drilled hundreds of wells and currently operate more than 330 wells in North Dakota and Montana. We have accumulated nearly 170,000 net leasehold acres with over 10 years of drilling inventory.

The Kraken is a legendary sea creature of giant proportions thought to dwell in the deepest parts of the oceans. Its figure resembles that of a squid or octopus, and although a specimen has never been seen or captured, the legend continues to the present day.
